SUMMER LOOK BY YSL

Pictures by JAMES VYN
BEAUTY NEWS Remember I was promising you for a while now a full shooting with all the products of the new Yves Saint Laurent summer 2012 collection? Well here they are now! I am very excited because James and I are really happy of the result, it's exactly how I imagine the Yves Saint Laurent athmosphere : very chic and elegant but still with this touch of ''fraicheur''. I really enjoyed trying out the products and this whole brand new look which changes a bit from what I am used to wear. The YSL summer look is dramatic, red berry lips, blue masacara and a very thick eye liner. How to achieve the look ? Learn out how I achieved the look.

FACE : I started by priming my facewith some Touche Eclat on the cheekbones, on the nose and forehead to reveal the natural glow of my face. Then of course a little bit of natural foundation just to make the skin tone more even.  I used very few powder, just enough so that the make-up stays in place. Finally, a little bit of Terre Saharienne coral bronzer on the features that the sun hits naturally such as the forhead, the nose and of course the cheeks. The goal is to keep that natural glow of the face, a little trick : using a bit of white glittery eye shadow on the nose and checks to add more glow.
EYES : By using the Pure chromatic number 8 palette, I did my usual make-up routine where I began by the lightest shade on the whole eye lid then the darkest right above my lid in a half circle to make the eyes pop. After the eye liner comes the interesting part : though I used black mascara for my top lashes the originality of the summer look is in the blue underlining of the eye with some blue mascara. I used the YSL volume effet faux cils waterproof blue mascara just on the lower lashes to give them this blueish effect.
LIPS : A heavy dose of Rouge Mandras on the lips and you are ready to rock that summer look!

P.S : For those who are interested, the dress is by www.threefloorfashion.com and the necklace is from Number-A!
